Amended opening hours are as on the front page of this website. Opening hours will gradually increase as we progress.
Measures have been put in place to assist our members in making transactions without visiting the office, should they wish. Be assured that your credit union is still operating and conducting business within our usual hours, as far as is possible, albeit remotely. Additional security checks have been put in place to confirm your identity when you call the office. Please ensure you have your credit union membership number available when you call.
HOW DO I WITHDRAW MY SHARES?
Telephone or e-mail (during opening hours) to arrange a bank transfer to your current account.
HOW DO I MAKE MY LOAN REPAYMENTS?
Telephone (during opening hours) to make a loan repayment using your debit card. We encourage you to set up a standing order to repay your loan. Please continue to repay your loan. You may download a standing order form here.
HOW DO I MAKE A SHARE DEPOSIT?
We encourage you to set up a standing order. You may download a standing order form here. You may also make a payment into your shares using your debit card by telephone.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR A LOAN?
If you are registered for online banking (see below), you may apply online. If not you can request and return a form via post or e-mail, or, you can apply by phone. You will also be required to sign and return a promissory note.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY LOAN?
Approved loan applications will be paid by bank transfer. If this is not possible you MUST telephone to make an appointment. You MUST come alone. Anyone accompanying you will be asked to remain outside.
Note – Bank transfers may take up to 3 working days. Please apply well in advance.
REGISTER NOW FOR ONLINE BANKING. This will enable you to check your share and loan balances and apply for loans. Registration links are at the top and bottom of our website homepage.
HOW DO I JOIN BALLYHACKAMORE CREDIT UNION?
Please contact us by phone or e-mail. We will check your eligibility and provide details of how you can join. Joining will be strictly by appointment only and one person at a time.
